Computer Prayer
Last Straw
Light Bulbs

I use humor to connect people's everyday experiences with the eternal truths found in the Christian Faith. This was the only prayer quoted by the PCUSA News Service during the 1998 General Assembly. It was later published on PresbyNet, the computer conferencing system of the Presbyterian Church.

Prayer for Computer Users

Weaver of the web from creation
which links all together,
you knew our personal profile
before we had a URL.
You never respond with a 404.
Keep us connected to you,
on-line to our hearts,
in the net Christ cast into the world,
in whose screen-name we pray. Amen.
