        | Here is an email written to me by a youth in confirmation class
(Youth in Faith Formation - YFF) at Latrobe Presbyterian Church as I ended
        our time together.
          | | I'm
writing to you because you had recently told me to tell you why I do
not "Dread" coming to church and YFF anymore. Once is because I
never really had a relationship with anyone in the church well
enough that I would be willing and openly want to come, I never
really had a good hard relationship with God. I guess it's because I
didn't open myself up and let God into my life. Now, that I'm in YFF
I had a relationship with not only God, but Pam, You, and my fellow
YFF friends. I have realized that church isn't all that bad when you
really listen and understand what the minister (you) are talking
bout during the sermon. It also just hit me that Sunday School and
the church service all ran together some how in some ways. Sunday
School was easier for us the children to understand, while the
church service was much more mature. Church is actually fun! I thank
you for helping me realize all of this, even though you may not
think you really did.   | A news reporter from General Assembly.

          | | Not Exactly the Easy Way
Out Dept.: When YAD Burns Severson came
down with chicken pox, SAR figured it was all over but the long walk
home (all the way to Mackinac Presbytery). But thanks to Christy Ramsey
in the Newsroom (oops, Communication Center), Burns is now watching the
Assembly on his computer from the comfort of his quarantined room at the
Holiday Inn. Now, if only the good ol’ 215th was in Chicago, Burns would
        also be voting!
