Greetings at the end of 2002!
To all our friends and the United Nations, we make this report
        public:
We have wrappings of mass decorations.
Christy finished a blessed 14 months at interim pastor at Delmont
Presbyterian Church. While looking for his next position (will preach
for food) he completed his A+ computer certification, (will compute for
cash) He experimented with a beard (you still have to shave, just
further out from the face) while on a cross country train trip to visit
his brother Tom and his family. Earlier he attended the Presbyterian
Church’s General Assembly in Columbus volunteering for PresbyNet.

Bette Lynn - is back to BC weight (before children) and looks great.
She was diagnosed with diabetes and lost the weight to help manage the
illness. She is doing well providing physical therapy to homebound
patients. She enjoyed going to the Lake Erie beach every day the week we
were at Lakeside, Ohio with Christy’s parents. At church she is an elder
on session along with her “elder” 18 year-old daughter Rachel. They also
        both teach Sunday School.
Rachel is a senior, the college and career paths seem overwhelming at
times. After visiting colleges with her father and Bette Lynn’s parents,
she hopes to go to the University of Delaware. She is thinking of a
psychology major right now. She is a mentor to two girls in the
Johnstown area after spending a week at camp with them. In a summer that
had her only briefly visiting home, Rachel also went to Geneva Center
camp for the 12th year. (Photos are at
        http://www.rachelramsey.com)
She lettered in Field Hockey as a varsity player and participated in the
        Powderpuff Football game.
Robert played football in his last year of Middle School, switching
from soccer after several years. He didn’t enjoy trying to learn all the
plays but liked being on the team with his friends. He is a patrol
leader in his Boy Scout troop attaining both First Class and the Order
of Arrow this year. He sang a solo in a fifties themed choir concert. He
is an example to us all, regularly walking over a mile home from school.

We are waiting here, for such things as a job for Christy and college
acceptance for Rachel, but most important, we are waiting for the coming
of Christ. We all hope the waiting time is blessed with preparation and
        growth for you and yours.
Christy, Bette Lynn, Rachel and Robert
